Altrincham & District Athletic Club (ADAC) has a proud history of junior and senior athletes gaining national and International honours. In addition and most importantly, it supports members to achieve their personal goals, whether to run a first marathon or gain a personal best at 5k.
With over 280 members, the club caters for athletes from 8 to 80 years across various training groups in all disciplines and for all abilities. Each training group is managed by qualified coaches, all have England Athletics accreditation. For more information visit Coaches.
We encourage our athletes to be confident in their abilities and complete for the club in cross country, road, fell and track & field events. We welcome beginners, joggers, keep-fit enthusiasts and experienced athletes both in running and field disciplines. The club is largely a running club however it competes in track & field leagues and can cater for all events. Timperley Track facilities
Our facilities include a seven-lane cinder track, six-lane 110m synthetic sprint & hurdles track, synthetic long, triple & high jump area, synthetic javelin run-up, throwing cage for discus & hammer and circle & quadrant for shot put.
Inside our perimeter fence we have a grass trail and club house, including toilets and showers. All facilities benefit from flood-lighting allowing training in safety all year round.
