The first morning fell run in February is on Thursday 11th February from The Cock in Whaley Bridge organised by Robin Wignall. Eccles Pike and Windgather Rocks are just two of the possible places within easy reach with Shining Tor, the highest point in Cheshire at 1834 feet, a little bit further away.

2016 Fell Running Championship

Here is the new system and the races for this year‟s club fell running championship.

It is a two-tier system, whereby a minimal number of “Super Championship races” are supplemented with a larger number of “Secondary Championship races”

There are just 8 Super Championship races.
Your best 5 will count scoring 15, 12, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1 for all other finishers.

Secondary Championship races will score 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 with up to 6 races counting.
The first Super Club championship race has already been announced (The Kinder Trial).
