We are looking for support in raising funds to modernise the current 60 year-old Timperley cinder gravel track.
All donations, big or small, would be gratefully appreciated to help us achieve our goal of £75,000.
PATRONAGE
We are selling a metre of track for £100 to each individual patron, who will be acknowledged on a patron plaque in the club along with other sponsorship from businesses in the Community.
The plan is to develop an up to date track facility that the whole Community to benefit from. Access will be available for wheelchair users so that all members of our Community can use this facility as either spectators at events or to exercise on a tartan track.
We are currently running on a cinder grit track that is prone to flooding and during periods of heavy rain seniors and juniors are at the risk of injury.
We have a dedicated team of coaches and volunteers at ADAC and our talended athletes represent their club and county who would benefit from these improvements.
There are currently over 280 ADAC members, along with many more training on the track from local schools and sports clubs each week.
We are self funding and not seeking Government funding for the tartan track and need to be supported with raised funds.
We appreciate that there are so many fundraising drives out there and everyone is inundated with demands on their finances. We do believe however that a doantion or investment will make a significant benefit to the Timperley and Altrincham Community. Now that we are through the Pandemic, we can all appreciate the benefit of sport and exercise in promoting mental health and well-being for both young and old alike.
Please support this fundraising drive and share as far and wide as possible. All donations are most welcome.
Yours in sport,
Altrincham & District Athletics Committee
Make a donation and use Gift Aid
Altrincham & District Athletic Club (ADAC) is run by volunteers for the benefit of our members and the local community. Our main income is from the annual subscriptions and we have lots of expenses; rent of the track, equipment, entries to leagues and coaching courses being just a few. We always need extra money to help the Club and would be grateful if you could consider making a donation.
If you are also able to sign a Gift Aid declaration this would increase your donation by 25p of Gift Aid for every £1 you donate. If you would like to make a donation, the ADAC payment details and gift aid declaration form will be available here soon.
